Information on Budget Document Formats
Budget documents are available for download in a range of formats:
Microsoft Office - Word (.doc); Excel (.xls)

OpenDocument - Text (.odt); Spreadsheet (.ods)
The OASIS OpenDocument Format (ODF) (ISO/IEC 26300) is an open XML-based document
file format for office applications. It is supported by a number of office applications
including
OpenOffice.org, StarOffice, and Google Docs.

Portable Document (.pdf)
Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format developed by Adobe Systems. Adobe
provides a free
PDF reader here.
ZIP files (.zip)
A ZIP file usually consists of one or more compressed files. This year's budget
can be downloaded in all formats as one ZIP file or the all the documents within
each format can be downloaded as a ZIP file. A number of ZIP file software tools
are available including
PKZIP,
WinZip, and
7-Zip. Zip files also appear as compressed folders in Windows XP.
